Our staff are experienced professionals with years in the industry. We offer community enrichment and a number of regular activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and enriching activities for residents in an assisted living facility
- Plan and coordinate events, outings, and programs to promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation
- Conduct recreational therapy sessions to enhance residents' overall well-being
- Provide counseling and support to residents and their families regarding aging issues and senior care options
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
- Manage the daily schedule of activities and ensure timely execution
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field preferred
- Experience in event planning, preferably in a senior care or assisted living setting
- Knowledge of aging issues, dementia care, and best practices in senior care
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage schedules and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic environment

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
