Safety Coordinator

Duties:
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with management to develop and deliver safety-related training programs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Prepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in occupational health and safety
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, 30 hours OSHA certified.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety programs
- Ability to fabricate solutions to address workplace hazards
- Proficient in CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures
- Skilled in training development and delivery
- Familiarity with EPA regulations related to environmental health and safety (EHS)
- Report writing skills for documenting incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Knowledge of workers compensation law and processes

Pay: $39,473.66 - $47,538.17 per year
