Overview:

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infections
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Hospice care
- Proficient in laboratory procedures, including specimen collection and analysis
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare team members
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
