Highly skilled Program Manager with a strong background in Human Resources to join our team supporting our Department of Veterans Affairs customer as a contingency offer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing programs and initiatives and solid experience in HR functions. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a strategic mindset to drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and oversee programs and initiatives associated with career path and individual career development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
Develop and implement HR strategies along with our customer and within our customer's network and systems.
Monitor program progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing program performance and making data-driven recommendations.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management and HR roles.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs a huge plus.
