Salary Range: $35.00 to $42.00 an hour

PACT MSO is a Management Service Organization that supports numerous physician groups. We offer health benefits, paid time off, and a friendly working environment. We are a medium sized company with a family atmosphere.
PACT MSO has a busy Gastroenterology Office that is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will work Monday through Friday and the position will float between office locations in Hamden, Milford and Guilford 8 hour shifts.
Under immediate supervision, supports providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivery of patient care.
Essential Functions
- Provide EPIC in basket coverage for provider(s) who are out of the office including but not limited to patient questions via MyChart or phone calls. Medication refills, completion of patient forms, patient follow up, lab and path results, future appointment needs.
- Serves as liaison between provider and incoming callers with outside agencies, referring providers, patients, hospital staff, etc.
- Provide phone triage support by collecting appropriate information over the telephone to determine the urgency of a health problem and to determine whether medical intervention is needed and how soon treatment is required..
- Back for Motility testing
- Documents all patient care and completes tasks in EHR
- Supervises medical assistants
Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill of nursing theory and practices
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill of EHR and other software systems
- Strong communication
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited school
- Current State RN license
- Prior GI and Medical Office Experience preferred.
