About CTSS:
The Center for Trauma Support Services (CTSS) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization founded to address the needs of trauma survivors. We aim to serve victims/survivors of both reported and unreported crime with services that restore safety and create connections. Placing the victim/survivor at the center of our attention, we listen with care to address any experiences of isolation and distress. We work in coordination with criminal justice systems, restorative justice systems, and community partners, in full recognition of the difficulties of meeting victim needs when they are tied to and dependent upon the identification, prosecution or conviction of a perpetrator. CTSS reduces the suffering from violence and trauma and promotes healing in our communities.

As the Trauma Support Program Director, you will provide direct services to victims and survivors of violent crime, as well as advocacy services. The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining and building trusting relationships with community members within and external to the criminal justice system to receive referrals, complete intakes, and reduce barriers for survivors accessing services.

- Provide one-on-one trauma support to individuals impacted by violent crimes.
Community engagement and support (35%)

- Advocate for policy changes with institutions when relevant.
- Develop community partnerships where mutually beneficial for CTSS and survivors of crime.
