Bridgemark Addiction Recovery Services is a comprehensive treatment center providing over 47 years of treatment recovery for a continuum of care, offering residential, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and relapse prevention services among others.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Counselor with specialized knowledge in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide vital clinical services, including intervention, assessment, treatment planning, triage, and both individual and group counseling sessions. This role requires a compassionate individual who can offer support and guidance to patients through their recovery journey, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the severity of substance abuse issues.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and recovery goals.
- Provide high-quality individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
- Initiate and provide family counseling services as necessary.
- Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision, individual supervision, and staff meetings to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Ensure all documentation meets contract, licensure, accreditation standards, and service requirements promptly.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide clinical services to residential adult males and assist with other patients as assigned by the clinical supervisor.
- Maintain patient and company information confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 standards.
- Assist in monitoring and managing the patient community as a therapeutic milieu.
- Intervene in crises to deescalate situations and utilize such events as therapeutic opportunities.

- Day, evening, and weekend hours are available to accommodate the needs of our patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, health services, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Must hold one of the following licenses: LCDP, LCDCS, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in diagnosing and treating substance use disorders.
- Experience utilizing ASAM criteria.
- Ability to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient and family engagement in the recovery process.
