CCS Pediatric Therapy & Family Wellness is a family-focused, evidence-based, multidisciplinary small private practice with many therapists having well over 25 years of experience. We work with children ages 0-21 with all abilities and strive to treat each family as a whole. We are a close-knit and collaborative group looking to share our love of the job and mentor other like-minded professionals as we grow.
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and fun-loving pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. To join our team, you must be passionate about what you do and love to work with children and their families. The ideal candidate will possess the ability and willingness to take initiative, think “outside the box”, and be willing to learn and apply various cutting-edge treatment approaches. The desire to continue to grow as a professional and willing to collaborate with the team is a must!
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school
- Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience (preferred), however, the right new graduate will be considered and mentored
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapy License through IDFPR
- Clinical skills to work with a variety of ages and challenges
- Possess a variety of treatment strategies in their “toolbox” and the confidence to use it
- Experience with or be interested in working more with manual body work, greater understanding of postural control, and foundational movement patterns
- Be able to look beyond the surface to see what makes each child “tick”
- Will need to be able to work early morning/before school hours and/or after-school and evening hours
- Attend IEP meetings when needed to support our families
- Loves to work in a collaborative team environment with other therapists and families
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a MUST!
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated at times
- Desire to continue to grow as a professional
- Love of learning is a must!
