Dental Assistant or Medical Assistant experience required.
Assistant will assist the Oral Surgeon in both administrative and clinical duties including, but not limited to:
- Seat patient and prepare them for exam or procedure, set up monitors, assist doctor during surgery, monitor patient during sedation and recovery
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Review patients medical history and medications.
- Take 3D CT, panorex and PA x-rays
- Set up instrument trays and prepare rooms and materials
- Actively provide instruments and materials to Oral Surgeons during exams and procedures
- Provide patient and practice support services including, but not limited to, personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments
- Obtain CPR, ACLS, PALS, DAANCE certifications (will be provided by practice

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
