The Retail store manager develops, manages and leads a high energy professional retail sales team to ensure achievement of store sales targets and key metrics, operational goals and superior customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for full operation of the retail store including opening, closing, staffing, sales, customer satisfaction, cash and inventory controls, store appearance and store marketing
- Hires, trains, coaches, develops and motivates staff in store
- Meets or exceeds assigned sales performance and profitability metrics. Sets appropriate individual performance targets and standards for each staff member
- Spends majority of time leading by example servicing, engaging and selling to customers directly on sales floor
- Facilitates and participates in daily huddles and weekly staff training/educational sessions to increase knowledge, create high levels of motivation, and inspire team to achieve results
- Ensures that all staff members are fully aware of all current promotions, all procedures and are compliant will all T-Mobile and Company required training participation and completion
- Develops, implements and monitors a store marketing and prospecting plan to increase customer base and sales
- Establishes and monitors store work schedules and staffing issues to effectively manage payroll expenses and coverage to match the needs of the stores traffic flow within budget
- Exhibits a high level of leadership presence within all aspects of the business and relationships with other stores and departments
- Reviews and analyzes business reports to effectively manage store performance metrics (KPIs) and makes adjustments to staffing, training and tactics in order to maximize results
- Provides subject matter expertise to answer staff, customer and inter-department questions and to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely, efficient and effective manner
- Ensures store is maintained to be compliant with visual merchandising, signage, cleanliness and other visual standards as established by T-Mobile and the Company
- Maintains strong inventory controls, facilitates inventory transactions, processes timely RMA and XBM returns, and ensures inventory compliance and protection of company assets
- Performs daily sales paperwork audits for accuracy
- Manages daily cash handling, bank deposits, credit card reconciliation and payout activities
- Analyzes transactions to ensure compliance, identify problems or fraud, and to adhere to all T-Mobile and Company standards and course corrects any issues
- Maintains a professional, positive, high energy, collaborative work environment at all times
- Cultivates strong relationships and partnerships with local T-Mobile teams and departments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
