Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics and electrical systems, with experience in welding and field service. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery to ensure optimal functionality within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address mechanical issues
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and alignment
- Weld components using stick welding techniques
- Troubleshoot industrial machinery malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance activities
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial mechanics
- Familiarity with ammeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Proficiency in stick welding techniques for metal fabrication
- Ability to analyze mechanical problems and implement effective solutions
- Experience using precision measuring instruments for assembly and alignment task
- Experience with lifts and hoists is a bonus
