Member Duties : The Conservation Education Specialist supports Pierce Conservation District’s work by promoting conservation messages through youth programming. They will develop and deliver conservation lessons for youth; coordinate and lead field trips with local schools; conduct outreach at school and community events; support specific programs and events such as Salmon in the Schools and Envirothon; serve in our Pierce Conservation District AmeriCorps cohort in activities such as service projects and professional development; create communications materials for social media and other platforms.
