Blevins, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for the Nashville, TN branch. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of daily warehouse activities and personnel. To hit the ground running in this position, you must be a dedicated, dynamic, hands on warehouse manager who is organized, a natural leader, able to make quick and clear decisions, and able to multi-task and delegate effectively. A tremendous emphasis is placed on follow through and a positive, up-beat attitude. Your ability to work effectively under pressure is a must. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager.
Warehouse Manager's Responsibilities Include:

Directing all operations of warehouse and staff comprising of delivery drivers and warehouse associates in coordination with the Branch Manager

Inventory management and control
-
Coaching, teaching, training, motivating, and overseeing warehouse employees to accomplish the goals of the branch

Managing fleet of distribution trucks and the related routes to assure maximum efficiency

Promoting good housekeeping and safety

Monitoring and controlling business related costs

Handling management-related duties such as recruiting, retaining, and ensuring the proper training of quality employees in a positive, professional manner.

Tracking and recording customer related issues and challenges in order to develop a strategy to overcome any internal problems

Developing processes and procedures for all warehouse functions to improve warehouse workflow and efficiency

Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum 3 years management experience

Inventory management/control experience required

Position requires management to assist and perform same responsibilities as their supervised staff in warehouse and delivery, entailing required lifting and carrying, frequent walking/loading in warehouse

Excellent computer skills

Valid drivers license and clean MVR

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Experience with fleet or safety management is a plus
