Austin Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic is seeking a full-time Licensed Audiologist who is willing to work in a team-based environment to provide the best audiologic patient care. This position is located at our SW Village office in Austin, TX. This individual should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced ENT clinic.
Established in 1969, Austin ENT Clinic is one of the leading Ear, Nose and Throat clinics in the nation. Our physicians specialize in otolaryngologic care for pediatric and adult patients at locations across the greater Austin area. Our practice features state-of-the-art care for ear, nose, and throat problems, hearing loss, environmental allergies, sinus, and head and neck surgery. We offer a variety of highly specialized procedures that utilize the latest medical technology.
As a full time Audiologist, you will provide a full range of audiological services for our Austin ENT office. Job responsibilities will include diagnostic testing for pediatrics and adults. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills for working with all ages, as well as experience with hearing aid dispensing and troubleshooting. 2 years of practice experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess and diagnose hearing and balance disorders
· Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and immittance testing.
· Interpret test results and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment or further evaluation.
· Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
· Provide counseling to patients and families concerning the current function of the hearing mechanism, the nature of the hearing loss, the use of the hearing aids or the handicapping effects of hearing loss as well as hearing conservation.
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
· Stay up to date with advancements in audiology research and technology.
