Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking High Speed Rail Subject Matter Expert inthe United States to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide expert guidance on all aspects of high-speed rail systems, including track design, signaling, rolling stock, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that optimize the performance and efficiency of high-speed rail networks.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for high-speed rail initiatives.
- Oversee the technical aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of national and international regulations related to high-speed rail, advising the organization on compliance matters.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, engineering firms, and contractors, to foster positive relationships and align project objectives.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in high-speed rail technology and contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving the performance and sustainability of rail systems.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering field relevant to HSR
- 7+ years of experience in high-speed rail planning, design, or operations.
- In-depth knowledge of high-speed rail systems, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organization management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with American and/or European standards for railway engineering, systems engineering and other relevant disciplines, including ISO/IEC/IEEE and EN European Standards, and the technical expertise to understand their applicability to a project.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Pre-Employment Requirements:

- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
