Now Hiring - Certified Home Health Aide - Bergen County

The Certified Home Health Aide is responsible for, providing assistance to patients with personal care, activities of daily living/maintenance and management of household routines. Responsibilities can also include, but are not limited to:
- Greets patients in a friendly and welcoming manner. Creates a positive first impression. Smiles, projects a positive attitude.
- Through the continuous improvement standards of practice and by providing a safe and secure environment the patient will be assured a sense of safety and well-being, free from risk and harm.
- Gives and/or assists with assigned personal care tasks.
- Assists with activities of daily living
- Assists patient with mobility
- Assists patient in performing bowel and bladder functions
- Assists patient in maintaining adequate nutrition
- Follows Agency policy and procedures
- Nurture by supporting all patients. Acts with courtesy, care, concern and compassion. Educates others by sharing knowledge and expertise.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Professional Experience:
- Current CHHA license in the State of New Jersey
- 1 year of related work experience
