Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) provides patient centered, team-based primary care to residents of Western North Carolina. We are looking for a full-time, 40 hour per week, RN to join our growing team!
The Clinical Team Leader II (CTL II) will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and coaching a clinical team of 2-3 medical assistants in a pod setting. They will work closely with the Health Center Director to ensure that all clinical operations are running smoothly and efficiently within their team. These services are needed at our primary location Minnie Jones Health Center, 257 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.

Clinical Team Leaders are eligible for a quarterly bonus up to $800 by meeting or exceeding quality measures. We are seeking an experienced ambulatory RN to lead a clinical care team of 2-3 medical assistants in a pod-based setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team
- Ensure that all clinical staff are following established protocols and procedures
- Assist with the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Provide training and education to clinical staff as needed
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to clinical staff
- Ensure that all clinical staff are providing high-quality patient care
- Assist with the coordination of patient care
- Ensure that all clinical equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Float to different clinics within the organization as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Satisfactory completion of educational program clinical rotations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an outpatient setting.
- Expert knowledge of ambulatory, medical office operations.
- Familiarity with role of FQHC in the community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations and management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Certification in clinical management preferred

Salary range $68,500 to $75,000
