Social Work Manager
Responsibilities
•BBBSLI Program Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Agency Match Support and Engagement Team.
•The Manager will build, develop and coach staff in professional development and agency core values
- Moderate travel to agency offices, community and corporate partners is required, as is some night and weekend work
•Oversee the Community Based Program Team to ensure a high level of quality performance and individual team members’ professional development.?
•Assess individual training, information and support needs for each staff member to ensure positive development and successful job implementation.?
•Confirm that team members demonstrate high-level proficiency in, and application of child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of job functions according to set standards of practice and agency policies while maintaining high metric performance.?
•Responsible for hiring Community Based program staff and is responsible for overseeing training, developing, supervising and evaluating those employees; providing the tools to train, develop, supervise and evaluate program team staff.

•In partnership with the Chief Program Officer, review and evaluate team processes and procedures including cross training and resource allocation to correct or enhance as needed to ensure effective and efficient work structures.?
•Assist in the development and evaluation of policies and procedures to ensure that processes are efficient and meet agency goals and national standards.?
•Programming & Match Activities
•Ensure smooth and efficient transition for pending matches from Enrollment and Matching to Match Support; and to ensure that volunteers and clients whose current matches have terminated are re-engaged/matched as appropriate
•Monitor and evaluate the Community Based enrollment and match support procedures and effectiveness through managing staff and review of quality review feedback.?
•Oversee Match Activity Work team including facilitating team meetings
•Coordinate calendar of activity events to plan and budget for calendar year.
•Work with external partners to plan and facilitate all match activities
•Work with community organizations and vendors to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
•Coordinate ticket distribution and thank you responses for donors
•Ensure child safety is a top priority throughout all processes, procedures and decisions by utilizes a high level of proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of the job
•Track and manage program-related grants to ensure compliance with grant requirements; work closely with the finance and advancement teams on grant reporting and write program outcomes reports as needed.
•Supervise Master Level Social Work Interns
Qualifications
- Program Manager should have a Master’s degree in social work with SIFI certification. •Demonstrated a minimum of 3 years experience in program development, staff supervision. •The candidate will have a thorough understanding of casework practice and record keeping. •Computer skills in word processing and database management required with ability to handle a variety of tasks at any given time. •Automobile and valid driver’s license required. •Must be flexible regarding working hours •demonstrate good judgment in all aspects of his/her position-related activities. •Must possess good oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills and record-keeping skills. •Must be able to establish positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including volunteers, youth, staff, financial contributors and the general public.
Additional Experience:
- Relevant: 5 years (Required)
- Supervisory: 3 year (Required)
- SIFI certification required
- Ability to supervise MSW interns
- Experience in working with adolescents and with groups (preferred)
- Exemplary people, planning, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, punctuality, and professionalism
- A strong commitment to quality and results
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Teaching experience with teens (recommended)

· Hybrid
· Monday: 9 am – 5pm
· Tuesday- 9 am -5 pm
· Wednesday: 12:30 – 8:30 pm
· Thursday: 12:30 – 8:30 pm
· Friday: 9 am -5 pm
One Saturday per month is required in place of a Monday.
Job Type: Full-time
