Position: Senior Level -- LARGE LOSS --FIRE DAMAGE, Property Claims Adjuster – $175,000-300,000 DOE
This is NOT a remote/desk position. It is a field adjuster position that requires candidates live within a reasonable travel distance to claim sites in Utah/Idaho/Wyoming/etc. We are NOT interviewing candidates that are just interested in relocating for the job. We WILL consider candidates who have pre-existing relocation plans on a case by case basis.
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a senior level, seasoned/experienced, LARGE LOSS CLAIMS ADJUSTER with extensive FIRE DAMAGE experience to navigate/settle/negotiate or lead a team to settle residential and commercial claims. This position adjusts minimum residential and commercial claim sizes of $500,000. We are not interviewing or hiring auto/liability/etc adjusters -- commercial and residential structure and contents claims only...with experience adjusting large loss fires.

Responsibilities:
- Provide our clients with a voice in the adjustment of their structural damage claims.
- Mentor, lead and collaborate with adjusting team, sales, and other departments to settle claims
- Work with the adjusting team to generate Xactimate estimates using onsite inspections, interviews, proposals, blueprints, specifications, and / or online resources.
- Ability and experience documenting damage with photos, videos, and 3d scanning technology.
- Identify and resolve differences through data analysis and publication of detailed reports. Contribute to team effort to secure client satisfaction through action.
- Communicates with insurance companies in a professional, educated, and orderly fashion to reach successful claims results.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
- Perform other job duties as directed or needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous Adjuster license or direct employment with an insurance company a plus.
- Extensive experience adjusting fire damage claims.
- Comfort adjusting claims in excess of $200,000 in damage
- 5yrs. Xactimate estimating experience.
- A college degree or job equivalent a plus.
- Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong computer literacy/internet acumen. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Xactimate.
- Professional and effective communication skills. Excellent customer service skills
- Proactive approach to resolving problems.
Working Environment:
- Mixture of remote, in field work plus home office work
- At loss site, working inside and outside of property. You will be expected to work in and around physical structures including climbing on ladder and roofs, crawling in floor-spaces, and/or similar tasks.
- Work conditions may be severe based on weather and severity of damage/ loss.
- You may be required to wear protective gear for your safety.
Compensation DOE
$175,000-$300,000 DOE
