We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at ALife Hospitality Group. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants by performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repairs promptly, and ensuring that all facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Conduct regular inspections of restaurant facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them proactively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant managers and staff, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and other critical assets.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and installations.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for special events and functions.
- Uphold ALife Hospitality Group's standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health codes and regulations.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practices for maintenance and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with restaurant staff and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to address maintenance emergencies and support restaurant operations.
