Seeking experienced, friendly and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to assist providers in all aspects of patient care within Heart City Health at our Simpson Clinic location.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate must maintain good relationships with patients, parents and HCH team members.
- Must be culturally sensitive and have a passion for serving an underserved, diverse population.
- Clinical duties include/are not limited to: patient screening for chief complaint, history of present illness, past history including medications, obtain patient vital signs, vaccinations and screenings for children.
- Performs lab draws when necessary, assists with office procedures as requested/required, & schedules appointments.
Qualifications
High School or GED required.
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program is required.
Medical Assistant Certification is required.
Previous experience with EHR system strongly preferred.
One year of clinical medical office experience preferred.
One year of Pediatric Clinical Experience required.
