- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and maintaining social connections
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for individuals
- CMT Certification is a plus
- Previous experience in social work, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to lift and assist with transferring individuals as needed
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience with medication administration is a plus
- Understanding of assisted living principles and practices
- Ability to take vital signs and monitor health conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
