Soliant Health is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for full or part-time opportunities near Gages Lake, IL. This position runs from August 14, 2024, to May 28, 2025, and involves working between two schoolsthree days at one school and two days at another.
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on speech and language issues
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
- Stay updated with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure and PEL certification in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
