Residential Advocate
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to.
- Answers crisis calls.
- Manages a caseload, offering residents advocacy, support and referrals related to goals.
- Conducts ongoing as needed interventions, safety planning, advocacy, case management, parenting support, information, and referrals, and assist with daily living needs.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of shelter offices, and entire internal facility, including at times, light cleaning of apartments after resident exit.
- Completes, manages and maintains all documentation collected from intake to discharge.
- Maintains resident files, agency files, statistics, forms, and other record keeping as required.
- Models non-violent conflict resolution and use non-violent forms of guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of related work experience, training, education and or volunteer work.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Spanish preferred
- Valid Driver's License Required
This part-time position includes working weekends and holidays, as the Shelter operates 24/7.

Pay: $19.83 - $20.58 per hour
