Typically the last contact a customer has with a Badcock representative is the team that visits their home to deliver and set up their new Badcock furniture they've purchased. Our delivery associates must be polite and courteous and willing and able to take direction from customers about the placement of the furniture in their homes. Constant care in the inspection, prepping and delivery of our products must be taken to meet our customers expectations. The customers delivery experience often determines if that customer will return to shop at Badcock and recommend Badcock to their friends and family.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle
- Offload and install merchandise
- Ensure that delivery schedule is followed
- Deliver merchandise to customers' homes without additional damage
- Safely operate delivery vehicle
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum six months experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping and/or storage of goods.
- Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and "dollying" merchandise 50-300 pounds
- Self-management to demonstrate self-control and the ability to manage time and priorities
- Teamwork
- Good communication skills with ability to take direction
- Reliable transpiration to get to work
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
