StaffPro is currently hiring a Bilingual Housekeeping Manager who will be responsible assisting the in the operation of the Housekeeping department and management of the staff. Administrative duties include scheduling, inventory and maintaining hotel rooms to quality standards. Must have the ability to use a computer and various software programs such as Microsoft and Excel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides effective new GRA orientation.
- Trains all new GRA’s following the corresponding Training Program.
- Monitors, evaluates and ensures trainee's progress.
- Conducts audits (inspections) to identify training needs and opportunities for performance
improvement.
- Provides written and verbal performance feedback, hands-on coaching and counseling during and after training period.
- Ensures all GRA’s keep high levels of performance and productivity, even after the training period.
- Identifies operational challenges during and after training, obtains employees feedback and
communicates to management in a timely manner.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and deliverance of the highest quality service possible for customer. Maintains industry best practices at all times.
- Supports Executive Housekeeper in resolution of customer and performance concerns. Coordinates activities with other departments as needed.
Personal Attributes and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the Housekeeping Department.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation & persuasion/motivation skills required.
- Excellent time and workload management skill, ability to prioritize, high attention to detail, and ability
to multi-task and meeting established deadlines.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift heavy objects up to 30 lbs.
- Bilingual English – Spanish.
