Shipping and Receiving Technician - 2nd Shift
Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Technician is responsible for the shipping and receiving functions of the warehouse. This includes picking, packing, processing, and loading customer orders for shipment as well as receiving inbound material. Shipping and Receiving Technicians inventory, build, and stock boxes, cores, pallets, crates, and other shipping material for the shipping process. They may also be responsible for utilizing forklifts to pull and stock material into/from the warehouse in addition to maintaining the warehouse barcoding system. Shipping and Receiving Technicians must know how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the packing and shipping processes so that production can continue without interruption. They are responsible for operating equipment safely and efficiently while shipping quality products based on customer requirements.

· Be capable of meeting production demands with resourceful use of raw materials.
· Promptly report equipment malfunction and necessary repairs to supervisor.
· Maintain all safety, housekeeping and other applicable standards.
· Maintain required productivity level at 100% standard.
Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED
· Manufacturing or Warehouse experience preferred
· Forklift Operator experience preferred
· Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding work environment
· Ability to remain calm and focused while prioritizing requests from multiple sources
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Demonstrate proficiency in mathematics, mechanics, and computer skills
· Ability to read, write clearly, speak, and understand English
· Ability to read and understand label data
· Ability to read small print on packaging and paperwork, with or without corrective lenses
· Ability to use measurement devices including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
Physical Demands
· Must be able to independently lift/move up to 70 lbs
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crouch or crawl on a frequent to continual basis in a production environment
· Reach above shoulder level frequently
Must be able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, hearing protection, harness, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, protective clothing, etc.)

Pay: From $18.97 per hour
