Purpose:
The Video Director/Producer must fulfill his or her duties with excellence and ministry appropriateness. This individual will report directly to the Production Manager as they oversee the technology needs of First Christian Church. This is a full-time role and a support position viewed in a holistic manner. Therefore, the person filling this role will be willing to help in all areas of the church’s ministry. Consequently, this person must be relational and able to work well with people.
The individual filling the position of Video Director/Producer will be a vital part of the Worship Arts Team. A professional approach and spiritual attitude are expected at all times.
Required Skills:
This individual will have accepted Christ as the leader and forgiver of his or her life. This position requires an educated understanding of technology as it relates to ministry and church life. The candidate must have experience. He or she must be able to work in a team setting with other ministry professionals maintaining interpersonal and relational skills.

As a member of the staff and congregation, it is expected this person will continue their professional and spiritual development through appropriate classes, bible studies, involvement in small group ministries or other appropriate means.
Essential Job Functions:
a. Overseeing video production in both pre-produced pieces and live content as directed by the Production Manager. This is a creative role so the ability to be a self-starter is important. This also includes being the primary director for our weekend experience. A working knowledge of the technology required to compete tasks is imperative.
- Roland Video Switchers or similar
- Final Cut Pro or similar video editing applications
- Adobe Creative Cloud or similar editing applications
- Sony Cameras and lenses or similar
- A working knowledge of capturing audio in the field
b. Assisting in leading teams for weekend experiences and special events. This includes conducting the necessary training development under the direction of the Production Manager. Volunteerism and service are highly valued within the congregation’s overall ministry.
c. Other duties as assigned, including mandatory attendance at large special events requiring production needs, as well as required staff meetings.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position under the oversight of the Elders and Administrative Committee of First Christian Church with the church’s Lead Pastor recognized as the governing body’s representative. The Video Director/Producer reports directly to the Production Manager.

Pay: $34,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
