QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Thorough understanding of 12 step recovery process. Orientation to rules and guidelines of the residential program. Minimum two years abstinence from alcohol and drugs. Training in CPR, First Aid, Urine Drug Screen process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Observes, documents and reports resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis for onsite or schedules activities and appointments
2. Conducts and documents housekeeping inspections and provides assistance to residents in improving housekeeping practices as needed.
3. Be available for transportation needs as necessary, (i.e., emergency transport, transportation to meetings, grocery store, and weekend activities. Other needs only in times when lack of transportation is an issue).
4. Inspections of residences will be conducted regularly and a professional response provided if needed, including the documentation of findings.
5. Maintains appropriate records, including incident reports in accordance with program policy and guidelines and informs supervisor or other designated staff in a timely manner of incidents that warrant such notification.
6. Provides on-site orientation and post admission support of clients and their children as a part of the intake process.
7. Medication observation/monitoring and Monitoring of urine drug screens
8. Employs good judgment and crisis management skills in response to circumstances in which they are needed. (i.e. de-escalation, redirection and trauma informed techniques)
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
