Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-time or Full-time Floor Manager to join our team in the food service industry. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Ensure that all guests are greeted promptly and receive outstanding service throughout their dining experience
- Train and mentor staff members on proper service techniques, menu knowledge, and customer interaction
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize productivity
- Implement effective floor management strategies to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant Manager in the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu items, and beverage service
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Proven track record in managing inventory control and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors
