Mary's Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc. is a locally owned, successful regional fresh produce manufacturer and is one of the largest independently owned produce companies in the Pacific Northwest. We have been growing exponentially and continuing to build a strong team to drive the company forward.
We currently have an immediate opening for a Hot Kitchen Prep Cook who is trusted to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and responsible for preparing a variety of foods, including sauces, dressings, pasta, salsas, cooked grains, vegetables and more.

Responsibilities:
- Gathering ingredients for cooking and assembling a variety of ready-to-eat foods and salads
- Evaluating finished products for appearance, taste, smell, and texture according to internal specifications
- Maintaining a clean work area, equipment and utensils
- Follow safety guidelines and uses caution in proper lifting techniques, handling of knives, Kitchen utensils, ovens, skillets, and kettles.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- One year of high volume kitchen experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on traditional culinary fundamentals
- General knowledge of basic kitchen ingredients, equipment and tools
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently, with strict attention to detail
- Good verbal, written & literary skills
- Positive can-do attitude, team player with a strong work ethic
- Effectively work as a team member and independently as required
-Work in a refrigerated environment between 34 - 38 degrees
- Lifts up to 25 lbs. repeatedly; up to 40 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Full weekend and holiday availability
