Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations of patients using echocardiography equipment
- Use aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures as needed
- Apply knowledge of cardiac physiology and anatomy to interpret test results
- Conduct sonography examinations to assess heart function and structure
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses during procedures
- Document findings accurately and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Board certification in echocardiography or cardiovascular sonography
- Proficient in performing echocardiograms and interpreting results
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
