We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen at Toqua Grill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and possess excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory control and manage ordering of supplies
- Develop and implement menu items
- Monitor food costs and work towards maximizing profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and procedures
Skills:
- Experience in kitchen management within a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting
- Proficiency in inventory management and control
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food service operations, including bartending and customer service
- Ability to conduct interviews and build effective kitchen teams
