Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician (Surgery)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our veterinarians in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of veterinary care, from assisting in surgeries to handling and caring for animals.
Bonus: Potential bonus available biweekly up to $600
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of animal anatomy knowledge to assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform X-Ray imaging and assist in interpreting results.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Provide compassionate care and support to animals during their stay at the clinic.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring anesthesia, and post-operative care.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and kennel areas.
- Educate pet owners on proper <Dental terminology> and overall pet care.
Skills:
- Experience with Veterinary technician duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
