The Warehouse Admin I will work closely with the Warehouse Team and the other Warehouse Admins in order to achieve defined departmental goals of on time receipt, on time shipments, quality, lean 6s, safety, and employee satisfaction. The Warehouse Admin is responsible for basic Warehouse admin functions as outline below.
Major Responsibilities
Material Handling
- Release and print Pool W49 work orders
- Print Bus Plans – Material Handling Mankos
- Offsite – Report and request coordination (in or out)
- Run open capacity and offsite report
Shipping
- Print Bus Plan – shipping Mankos
- Consolidate requested sales orders
- Release sale orders for picking
- Respond to requests for weight, dimensions, quotes
- Schedule / call in trucks
- Shipping confirmations
- Print / make BOLs and packing slips
- Publish tracking information
Specialty Shipping
- Label sorting on the item number and RDC
- Label sorting on the pick sheet order
- Confirm trucks and populate data field
The Warehouse Admin I will work with the Warehouse supervisors and team leads as well as the Warehouse team, with the support of and under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and must be capable of performing in a professional, responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned. It is expected that the Warehouse Admin I is capable of working in a dynamic environment. Requirements include:
- At least one year of previous administrative experience in a warehouse setting or at least two years of prior warehouse experience is preferred.
- High School diploma or G.E.D required.
The Warehouse Admin must uphold LINAK values as an employee of LINAK US.
