Aviva by Kameel is Atlanta’s award winning, top rated Mediterranean restaurant providing delicious, healthy food and an above and beyond customer experience for guests. Opened in October 2012 by Chef Kameel Srouji, Aviva has expanded into two locations in Downtown and Midtown Atlanta.
With business growing rapidly at both locations, Aviva is entering a period of high growth and will be expanding Aviva's vision of providing the best Mediterranean food and an amazing customer experience for years to come.
We are currently seeking a hard working, charismatic, problem-solving General Manger to successfully lead our Downtown location through this exciting phase of growth.
Aviva’s General Manager will be responsible for hiring, training and leading staff, and fostering a culture of amazing food and an above and beyond customer experience. Aviva’s GM will expand management's vision, drive restaurant and catering sales, and meet sales/profitability goals.
There is unlimited potential for this position and the right candidate will grow with our company as business continues on an upward trajectory. Our goal is to expand and open more locations; the right candidate will grow with us from a GM position to District Manager position.
Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations. The right candidate will lead by example with positivity, charisma and hard work. Communication and respect will be the driving forces behind all successful relationships within the business. Aviva’s Downtown (original) location is built for speed and efficiency and caters to the business lunch crowd. It is crucial to our success that Aviva’s GM leads with constant positivity and energy despite our long lines. Aviva’s GM will increase profitability, foster an amazing work culture and adapt a service oriented approach to all aspects of business.
Requirements
· Positivity, enthusiasm, charisma and extreme ownership/accountability
· Minimum 2 years of management experience in a full service or QSR restaurant preferred.
· Expertise ability to read and understand P&L statements
· Proficiency in Spanish, Fluency Preferred
· A “never quit” mentality to get the job done no matter what
· Invoicing guests for catering and handling all catering operations
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Detailed Responsibilities
· Managing food and labor costs
· Setting schedules for team members
· Managing all aspects and hiring for catering services
· Overseeing all operations as Aviva expands into future locations
· Meeting sale’s goals
· Developing and managing processes to ensure success for all team members
· Hiring, training and leading team members
· Floor presence – engagement with guests
· Meeting with marketing team to develop strategies for digital channels in Facebook, Instagram
· Maintaining strong relationships with all team members and vendors
· Driving catering sales to nearby offices
· Developing more efficient online ordering system
· Maintaining and developing equipment maintenance schedules
· Inventory control and management
Compensation
· Quarterly bonuses for achieving profitability goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,404.00 - $68,388.00 per year
