The Activity Coordinator helps provide physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual support to all residents of Good Shepherd Health Center by providing group or individually tailored activities. Group activities should be offered every day at hours that most residents can attend if they wish, including weekends. Activity Coordinators should encourage residents to take part in group activities, and even assist in transporting residents to and from the site of these activities. The Activity Coordinator reports to the Activity Director.
Educational Requirements: Completed an activity coordinator certification course. Obtain necessary CEU’s to maintain certification. Complete competency test for restorative care.
