Mission:
The Program Manager will lead all program activities to ensure the flawless launch or product modification in compliance with the DTS and customer performance objectives (Design, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Timing).
Responsibilities:
Ensure successful project launch / implementation
Ensures project objectives are met in terms of design, quality, cost, delivery, and timing
Checks and validates project team members activities and propose timing scenario to achieve milestones
Solves all project issues with support of functions
Develops project plans that include Work Breakdown structure (WBS) / Milestones in Microsoft Project
Escalates to the functional manager (as necessary) to obtain support for the resolution of project issues
Tracks and ensures the delivery of prototypes orders to the customer
Monitors program financials and verify financials meet / exceed program metrics (i.e. Profit margin, tooling, ED&T,etc.)
Actively lead a cross functional project team
Defines and clarifies project objectives to be in line with DTS and customer goals
Prepares project reviews internally and with customer
Works with the executive team to set project objectives
Manages all customer needs for the project (quality issues, change requests, status meetings, etc.)
Ensures all cost reduction and quality improvement ideas are tracked and implemented
Oversees accurate and timely interface between the engineering BOM and the manufacturing Plex BOM
Creates DTS ECR's to ensure focused communication and clarity between customers-engineering-production
Investigates and coordinates response to capacity studies in the customer capacity planning management system
Maintains an open issues list for all program activities (including champions, status, and due dates)
Effectively manage communication on project development progress
Provides project summary (dashboard) monthly status to the executive management team (highlighting risk/opportunities)
Reports APQP program status and participate in program gate reviews
Requirements:
Bachelors in Engineering or Business and/or knowledge of Product (product/process standards)
- Project/Program Management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project) required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- 5 -10 years of program management experience
Must be self-motivated, well organized, results oriented, a team player and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
