Purpose:
The CWS Global Human Resources Department is in search of a qualified Human Resources Employment Coordinator with a broad knowledge of various HR functions to support our department and ensure smooth and efficient business operations for the organization. This role will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will plan and administer important functions, particularly in the areas of US focused employee relations, compliance, background checks, and preboarding/ onboarding.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:

As a member of the Tactical Preboarding Team (TPT), facilitate preboarding clearances for all CWS US and international staff/independent contractors (excluding international local nationals). This includes but is not limited to background checks, professional reference checks and other employment verifications as needed

Be a trusted advisor; manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff

Translate and administer personnel policies and programs in partnership with the HR Manager, supervisors, hiring managers and other staff as needed

Partner with the HR Manager to resolve US employee issues and conduct local level investigations
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback as needed; aggregate exit interview feedback for quarterly reporting
- In partnership with the HR Manager, coordinate and conduct onboarding and participate in new hire orientation. Partner with new hire cohort groups as point of contact for first 90 days of onboarding. Facilitate 90-day pulse check/ recruitment/ onboarding satisfaction survey.
- In partnership with the HR Manager, ensure legal compliance of local, state, and federal regulations and applicable employment laws; contribute to updates of the employee handbook and other policies and procedures annually and/or as required.

Coordinate with the Benefits Administrator and the Operations department to ensure that all CWS office locations (including affiliates, fiscal agents, temporary offices) have the accurate and current labor law posters and relevant policies are posted in an accessible location for all CWS employees.

Coordinate with HRIS team to ensure that employee demographic data is updated and accurate in the HRIS system.
- Develop and refresh process improvements as it relates to preboarding, onboarding, background checks and policy review / policy acknowledgement checks.
- Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as state and federal labor laws.

Utilize the designated Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential; maintain all necessary records, including those tracked outside of the HRIS, to support review and audit.

Coordinate with the HRIS team on quarterly/as needed reporting

Assist the talent acquisition and recruitment team in the creation of new employee job descriptions and maintain current job descriptions as needed.

Respond to employment verification requests.
- Support other Global HR/HQ projects and processes as needed.

Education & Certifications:

One to three years of human resource generalist experience required

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and related experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
