Their services and products are designed to improve financial outcomes and enhance the customer experience. They are seeking a Paralegal Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team.
The Paralegal Contracts Manager will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts following departmental guidelines. They will coordinate the contract process through execution, manage the company's contract database and prepare contract templates and other corporate documents as required. The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic legal terminology, principles and documentation and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent tight deadlines and minimal day-to-day supervision. Effective collaboration and communication with other legal team members, business development and operations teams, sales, finance and other corporate functions are essential.
Paralegal Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
- Handle the negotiation, drafting and review of routine contracts, such as company contracts, service agreements and supplier agreements, following departmental guidelines

Prepare amendments and modifications for company contracts

Contribute to the creation of contract templates and the improvement of contractual processes

Analyze and summarize financial and legal terms in complex contracts and enter them into the contract database

Oversee the drafting, negotiation, approval and finalization of contracts

Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual requirements

Administer the company's contract database and provide document retrieval upon request

Develop, maintain and manage systems for tracking, scheduling and assigning legal service requests and obligations for the legal team

Coordinate with various company departments
Paralegal Contracts Manager Requirements:
- Knowledge of fundamental legal terminology and contract documentation

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe and Excel, as well as familiarity with contract management systems like Apttus or Contract Logix

Experience with Salesforce

Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
