The Recruitment Coordinator assists recruiters and talent acquisition leaders in sourcing top talent, posting and managing job listings, and maintaining requisition tracking reports. The Recruitment Coordinator has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and great communication skills.
1. Assist recruiters in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
2. Post job openings on internal and external platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency in job descriptions and requirements.
3. Maintain and update recruitment tracking spreadsheets to track candidate progress and recruitment metrics.
4. Coordinate interviews and assessments for candidates, communicating effectively with both candidates and hiring managers.
5. Assist in the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs and hiring events.
6. Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including monitoring the talent acquisition email inbox, revising job postings, and reviewing resumes and applications.
7. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures.
8. Other recruitment activities and recruitment projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of candidate sourcing experience is preferred.
Special Qualifications:
- Understanding of human resources policies and practices and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to conduct various types of interviews and candidate screening (online, phone)
- Knowledge of HR databases and applicant tracking systems
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, and a strong understanding of basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Social Media.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to work from home and on a Galen Campus.
Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: The position requires mental activity, reading, planning, preparing, evaluating, and decision-making. Physical demands are considered sedentary work with occasional lifting and/or carrying of such articles as records, files, and books (10 pounds maximum). Operation of standard office equipment such as phone, computer, and printer/scanner, occurs on a daily basis. Travel to campus locations may be required.
