Develops and implements manufacturing process improvement programs for the company.

Plans, develops, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes.

Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods; modifies processes to improve safety and product quality, and/or reduce costs.

Designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

Compiles quality data, establishes regular communication of data, and facilitates action plans to ensure continuous improvement of quality, cost, and delivery.

Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Conducts product and production failure investigations; implements corrective actions; prepares reports to communicate problem/resolution/progress.

Stops or postpones manufacturing of products if quality and/or regulatory concerns have been identified or suspected; coordinates resolution.

Compiles and writes training materials; develops and conducts training sessions.

Works collaboratively with appropriate departments/teams to develop product design and tooling processes to ensure efficient production methods.

Interfaces with outside vendors to determine product specifications; coordinates purchase of equipment, materials, and/or parts; evaluates products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.

Estimates future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Analyzes data for process investigations, productivity improvements, cost analysis, regulatory filings; documents and communicates results.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field.

Seven to Ten years related experience or equivalent
