Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, including performing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions in the medical-surgical setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and facilitate patient care
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for adolescent through geriatric patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
