Cole Associates and Counselors of Texas, PLLC is a multi-disciplinary counseling therapy clinic. We are highly recognized for empowering, advocating, and strengthen our community by providing psychotherapy, counseling, and mental health services. All of our therapists, counselors, and social workers are licensed in the State of Texas and are committed to providing quality care for each client.
We are a growing private mental health and counseling practice who is seeking a part time and fully time Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to join our team! We are not hiring for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates or Licensed Master Social Workers at this time. Cole Associates and Counselors of Texas mission is to provide quality, professional care to those who are seeking individual, couples, family or group counseling. We specialize in treating mental health disorders, substance abuse, and so much more.
We have a fully trained administrative staff that handles scheduling, billing, marketing and insurance for therapists. We believe in creating a stress-free environment that will help our therapist THRIVE professionally. The candidate must have full and unrestricted licensure in the state of Texas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual and group counseling utilizing professional counseling standards.
- Provide outpatient mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for identified individuals.
- Identify patients with urgent mental health conditions and make appropriate referrals.
- Consult with psychiatric providers regarding the patient treatment plan.
- Effectively communicate with and educate clients on treatment options, methods, and techniques.
- Establish and obtain client rapport by demonstrating warmth, realness, and empathy.
- Organize work time and perform required functions in a timely manner.
- Accurately document all services in EHR.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and to DSHS established documentation standards.
- Observe confidentiality requirements.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be independently licensed by the State of Texas eg (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC Associate) No LMSW
- At least two years of full-time experience in outpatient mental health counseling preferred.
- Experience utilizing an EHR/EMR a plus but not required (will provide training).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional.
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 28 per week
