Total-Western, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Engineer to lead and support the design, development, and execution of engineering projects. The Senior Project Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical integrity and successful delivery of complex projects. Project Design and Development:
- Develop and manage detailed engineering designs and specifications for various projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses to support project planning.
Project Execution and Management:
- Oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Technical Leadership and Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a key technical liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design records, technical reports, and change logs.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and project status to stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering roles within the construction, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management tools like MS Project.
- Engineering Knowledge: Deep understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of performing complex technical analyses and developing innovative solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the oil and gas, power generation, or manufacturing industries.
- Project Management: Experience in project management and execution within engineering contexts.
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
