About the Optometrist Opening
Arbor Eyecare is seeking a full-time Optometrist who possesses strong diagnostic skills, a teamwork mentality, and a passion for delivering excellent patient care. You’ll provide comprehensive eye examinations that meet or exceed the standards set forth by the American Optometric Association while blending the latest technology with the arts of listening and caring. Each doctor manages various anterior and posterior ocular diseases to their comfort level and practice scope and shares in the care of cataract surgery patients. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a care niche such as specialty contact lenses, dry eye, low vision, myopia management or other professional areas of interest. This is a full-time position, although the practice will consider excellent candidates interested in a part-time position. The position includes Saturday hours. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. Additionally, Arbor Eyecare encourages doctors to strengthen the entire team—technicians, opticians, and administrative support personnel—by contributing as both leaders and learners.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Optometry license in the state of Washington
