Role Overview: The RN Educator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the professional development and competence of nursing staff across various departments. This position involves direct floor engagement, offering real-time education and training to ensure all staff are proficient in their clinical skills and knowledgeable about the latest healthcare practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs and workshops for nursing staff.
- Conduct regular competency assessments and provide one-on-one coaching.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and tailor training accordingly.
- Facilitate new staff orientation and ongoing professional development sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital setting.
- Prior experience as a specialty nurse highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead training sessions that promote quality care and compliance with clinical protocols.
