Your Role
The Product Implementation team is responsible for the overall implementation of complex groups for our Core and Premier lines of business and the requirements management of new capabilities resulting from those implementations. The Senior Program Manager will report to the Director. In this role you will be the point of contact and intake for various product processes ensuring the proper level of detail is initially ascertained, provide assessment of requests, and ensure appropriate department personnel are engaged. The Program Manager will also care for requests end to end, manage communication, provide dashboard/status reporting, project priorities, and documentation of requests and solutions.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Direct small-scale, complex programs/projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the development and implementation of process of company's projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing internal/external programs and/or products
- Develop the program, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artifacts
- Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related program expenditures
- Define and track program milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
- Be a trusted adviser to Product leadership, senior managers, PMs, and key stakeholders; serving as Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) ensuring appropriate processes are utilized, stakeholders are informed, and appropriate Product points of contact are engaged
- Facilitation of various types of meetings involving key stakeholders, leadership, and SMEs from across the enterprise; driving to desired outcomes, presenting findings and strategic recommendations
- Manage risks to implementation and agree on appropriate actions to mitigate/control ensuring strong governance is fully embedded with goals of urgent resolution and escalating promptly. Regularly review risk assessment with Product Leads, Senior Managers, Sales, and Implementation Teams and/or PMs
- Provide timely, accurate, and consistent reporting of requests by volume/type/status
- In an ever-changing environment, ensures process workflows and DLPs are always accurate and updated engaging MOC where needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, ShieldLink, Facets, JIRA, Visio, as well as developing and documenting business requirements and presentation materials
- Possesses great organization skills and ability to prioritize effectively while managing multiple assignments, deliverables, and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal skills along with the ability to quickly create meaningful visuals and collateral
- Strong investigative, research, data gathering, and analytic skills required
Strong foundation of business skills, relationship management and risk management

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 87,200 to $ 130,900 for California.
Note:
Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.

Physical Requirements:
Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Due to the current public health emergency in California, Blue Shield employees are almost all working remotely. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
