**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. **Duties:** - Prepare operating rooms for surgery - Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile linens - Assist the surgical team during procedures - Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure - Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants - Monitor and manage surgical equipment - Ensure all medications are labeled and handled properly **Experience:** The successful candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas: - Patient care - Data collection systems - Medical-surgical procedures - Infection control practices - Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Ability to analyze situations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment - Understanding of hospital protocols and hospital medicine This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting where your skills will be utilized to provide exceptional patient care.
