Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with scheduling and coordinate patient appointments
- Provide administrative support tostaff as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
-Processing of Dental Claims
-Posting Claim Payments
-Verification of benefits for insurance plans
-Patient collections of outstanding balances
- Perform medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Utilize Dental software for appointment management and record keeping
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental receptionist role required
- Knowledge of medical records management and administrative procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented mindset
